Thinking back to last year, we had a sound poet come to see us, I didnt really like what he personally did but I loved the way the poems were written, the bits of paper were art in themselves, the way the letters flowed and grew in size as the words or sounds got stronger in velocity, he also used symbols arrows and lines to express how the sounds were made. I dont want to be a sound poet but I do feel the need to use the way of writing. The book House of Leaves used a wonderful way of using the text to add to the story, having it printed in blocks or going down the page rather than across. I feel I could use this to work along side the captchas.
